Karel Abo

Karel Abo is a violinist with extensive experience across multiple orchestras, currently serving as a violinist for the Savannah Philharmonic and the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra since December 2022 and March 2021, respectively. Abo has held the position of Associate Concertmaster at the Midland Symphony Orchestra since September 2013 and performs as a violinist with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and as a Substitute Assistant Concertmaster with the West Michigan Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Abo has taken on the role of Substitute Violinist with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Flint Symphony Orchestra, and Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, and previously served as Substitute Concertmaster for the Alma Symphony Orchestra. Abo also contributed to the music community as a Violin Instructor with East Cooper Music from October 2018 to December 2022. Educationally, Karel Abo obtained a Bachelor's degree in violin performance from Michigan State University.
