Rachel Vecchitto

Rachel Vecchitto has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Rachel is currently the Head of Engineering at Checkin since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at REI as a Lead Software Engineer for the Adventure Projects from February 2019 to May 2020. Before that, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer for the Adventure Projects at REI from August 2015 to February 2019. Rachel also has experience working at prominent companies such as Twitter, Etsy, and Wee Web, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer respectively. Rachel has also worked at The New York Times, Meetup.com, UBS, GE, and IBM as a Software Engineer. Rachel's work experience spans over 20 years, and they have held progressively responsible roles throughout their career.

Rachel Vecchitto earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1999 to 2003.
