Steve Gerhard

Steve Gerhard currently serves as Assistant Executive Director at Chester County Intermediate Unit since January 2021. With a robust background in educational leadership, Steve held the position of Superintendent at Governor Mifflin School District from July 2015 to January 2021 and worked as an Education Consultant for Professional Development at Discovery Education for a brief period in early 2015. Prior experience includes Assistant Superintendent roles at Wilson School District and Twin Valley School District, as well as a high school principalship. An accomplished academic, Steve earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Immaculata University, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from York College of Pennsylvania.
