Sarah Daily worked as Co-Director, Equity, Quality, and Access to Early Care and Education at Child Trends starting from January 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Research Scientist for Early Childhood Development at the same organization since December 2009. Before joining Child Trends, they were a Program Director at the National Governors Association from December 2008 to December 2009 and a Senior Policy Analyst from an unspecified date in 2006 to December 2008. Later, they pursued their Masters in Elementary Education at George Mason University between 2002 and 2006. Lastly, they obtained their Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from George Mason University, completing it from 2009 to 2013.
