Ron Bunce, Ph.D., LMSW has a diverse work experience spanning across various organizations and leadership roles. Ron currently serves as the President & CEO of Children's Home of York, a non-profit organization providing essential services to vulnerable children and families. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Operations Officer at Springboard Community Services, where they helped clients address behavioral health needs through counseling and case management. Ron also served as the Executive Director of the National Association of Social Workers - New York State Chapter, where they worked towards enhancing the professional growth of members and advancing social policies. Additionally, they have held executive director roles at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County and Madison County, engaging the community and leading diverse programs. Ron's experience also includes co-founding Rust to Green, a project focused on restoring ecological integrity in the city, and serving as Program Director at the Resource Center for Independent Living. Prior to their work in the social services sector, Ron worked as an Accountant/Office Manager at Fermer Precision Inc, overseeing accounting functions for the manufacturing company.

Ron Bunce, Ph.D., LMSW has a diverse and extensive education history. In 1990, Ron obtained an Associate's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Herkimer County Community College. Ron then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business from SUNY Empire State College in 2001. Following their undergraduate studies, Ron pursued a Master's Degree in Social Work at the University at Albany, SUNY, which they completed in 2004.

Building on their educational foundation, Ron acquired additional certifications throughout their career. In September 2012, they obtained their NYS Licensed Master Social Worker certification from the NYS Office of Professions.
