Peter Downey

Peter Downey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and human resources management, currently serving as the Director of Operations and Human Resources Director at CIA FIRST International School since June 2016, overseeing HR operations across three campuses with over 800 staff. Previously, Peter held roles at The Scoop Foundation as Development Officer, managing a New School for over 230 students, and at Aide et Action Suisse as Program Officer, contributing to regional program development and donor engagement. Additional experience includes serving as Academic Supervisor at iLEAD International School and various customer service roles. Peter holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Science in International Development and Food Policy from University College Cork, with ongoing studies in School Management and Leadership at Harvard Business School Online.
