Jose Carlos Zapata Sanchez

Jose Carlos Zapata Sanchez is a seasoned commercial professional with extensive experience in the agricultural sector. Currently serving as Senior Technical Commercial Representative at CIAMSA since March 2017, Jose Carlos oversees the western region of the country and leads a team of four agronomist professionals. Previously held various roles at Yara International from September 2000 to May 2016, including Sales Manager for the western zone, where responsibility included management of multiple departments and a team of ten professionals. Jose Carlos also served in national-level commercial management roles and regional sales positions. Earlier in their career, from April 1997 to August 2000, Jose Carlos worked as a Technical Sales Representative at Nutriabonos S.A., promoting Nutrimon fertilizers in Risaralda and Northern Valle. Jose Carlos holds a degree in Agronomy from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a specialization in commercial business management from Universidad del Norte.
