Mário Vilas

Mário Vilas is currently a Comunicador de Ciência at Ciência Viva and a Vogal in the Departamento de Saúde e Ecologia at the Associação dos Estudantes da Faculdade de Ciências de Lisboa. In addition, Mário serves as President of Oficina das Energias, where the mission focuses on disseminating scientific knowledge related to energy and the environment through various educational activities. Mário has participated in volunteer roles, including promoting the "Carbon Tree" project at NOS ALIVE 2023 and assisting at events such as the Dia Aberto ITQB NOVA and Dia da Terra 2023. Mário is pursuing a Licenciatura in Engenharia da Energia e Ambiente at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, having previously completed a masterclass in Física de Partículas at Instituto Superior Técnico and secondary education in Ciências e Tecnologia at Escola Secundária Sebastião e Silva. Additional training includes a digital and TV presenter course at World Academy Portugal.
