Carlos Lara

Carlos Lara is an experienced researcher with a robust background in engineering and computer science. Currently serving as a researcher at CIMAT since December 2020, Lara has previously held positions as a scientific researcher at CINVESTAV and as a researcher at CIMAT. Lara has extensive experience in postdoctoral research at National Taiwan University and CINVESTAV-IPN, and has contributed significantly to academia as a professor at Michoacana University and in leadership roles including vice-chancellor and director of postgraduate studies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Guanajuato, a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, all complemented by multiple postdoctoral studies in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at National Taiwan University.
