Basilio Gentile

Basilio Gentile has a diverse work experience in the fields of electrical engineering and entrepreneurship. In 2013, they worked as a Junior Specialist at UC Santa Barbara, focusing on distributed network control and smart grids. From 2014 to 2018, Basilio pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering at ETH Zurich. Their research centered around algorithms and game equilibria, with applications to traffic networks and smart energy systems. During this time, they also supervised several Master's Theses and worked as a lecturer. In 2018, Basilio became a Cohort member at Entrepreneur First, an organization supporting aspiring entrepreneurs. Shortly after, they co-founded Circuit Mind, serving as the Co-Founder and CTO. At Circuit Mind, Basilio developed innovative software that rapidly creates circuit board schematics, enabling faster and optimized hardware inventions across various industries.
