Tao Zhang

Tao Zhang has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Tao is currently serving as the VP of Europe Business at CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited since May 2022. Prior to this role, they held several positions at China Telecom Global, including Vice President, Director of Overseas Mobility Business, and Director of Global Marketing. Tao also worked at China Telecom Corporation Ltd. as the Deputy Director of Global Sales and Marketing. Earlier in their career, they were the Director of Product and Carrier Business, EMEA at China Telecom (Europe) Ltd. and the Senior Manager of Carrier Relations at China Telecom Corporation Limited. Throughout their career, Zhang has focused on driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Tao Zhang earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Design from Imperial College London between 2010 and 2012. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's Degree in Law (LLM) from The University of Hong Kong, specifically in the Faculty of Law. Prior to these postgraduate studies, Tao Zhang obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they hold a certification as a CMI Chartered Fellow from The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in 2020.
