Kamal Karmakar

Kamal Karmakar is CEO, founder and promoter of CitiXsys. He has been responsible for the Company’s evolution to be a specialist provider of software products for the retail and hospitality industries, including its flagship solution iVend Retail.

Kamal’s responsibilities include Business Strategy, Global Sales, Product Innovation and Growth. Under his leadership, CitiXsys has secured $105M in outside investment and grown to become a market leader and continual innovator in the retail sector. Kamal has also guided the organization to receive several prestigious technology awards.

Beyond his work at CitiXsys, Kamal’s experience includes counseling executives at high growth companies on strategy formulation, business model transformation, and implementation of a balanced scorecard. He has worked with many companies in an advisory capacity and has an exceptional track record of helping management teams achieve better strategy and bottom-line improvements.

A graduate of Harvard Business School, Kamal is well recognized in the industry and is on board of various companies globally, including being a member of the SAP Advisory Council for Business One in Germany.
