Nico Horning

Nico Horning is a prominent on-air talent currently working with ESPN+ since November 2023, specializing in play-by-play commentary for various collegiate sports. Additionally, Nico serves as a broadcast intern for the Syracuse Crunch, hosting reports and conducting player interviews. Experience at WAER includes producing broadcasts for major Syracuse sports and creating social media content. Nico is also active with Orange Fizz as a staff writer and co-host for a podcast focused on Syracuse athletics. With roles at multiple media outlets, including WJPZ Radio and Galaxy Media Partners, Nico has demonstrated expertise in play-by-play commentary, sports journalism, and social media management. Nico is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, expected to graduate in May 2026.
