Precious Yamaguchi

Precious Yamaguchi is a Full Professor at Southern Oregon University, teaching in the Communication and Emerging Media & Digital Arts departments. Additionally, Precious serves as the Co-Chair of the Social Equity and Racial Justice Advisory Committee for the City of Ashland, Oregon. They are also a Board Member at Reclaiming Lives and the National Association of African American Studies. Precious is the owner of Catalyst Ashland, a BIPOC, veteran, family-owned coworking space. With a Ph.D. in Communication and Media Studies from Bowling Green State University, Precious has a strong background in academia and community involvement.
