Wayne Reed

Wayne Reed, ICMA-CM, currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Cibolo since July 2021. Previously, Wayne held the position of Assistant City Manager for the City of Georgetown from January 2016 to June 2021, where responsibilities included fostering a mission-focused culture in collaboration with department heads. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy City Manager and Director of Community Development for the City of Centennial from May 2006 to January 2016, overseeing multiple departments and focusing on strategic leadership and service delivery. Wayne's earlier roles include Planning Director for the Town of Berthoud EDC, Senior Planner for the City of Arvada, and Planner II for the City of Denton. Wayne holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University.
