Tyler Penix

Tyler Penix is an experienced recreation professional currently serving as a Recreation Assistant for the City of Malibu since December 2015, with responsibilities including the development and oversight of sports programs, facility supervision, social media coordination, and budgetary support. Prior experience includes roles as an Event Management Intern and a member of the RecSports Marketing Team at Saint Mary's College of California, where Tyler contributed to NCAA athletic events and managed marketing initiatives. Additional experience includes scheduling referees for Silverfin Lacrosse LLC and scorekeeping for the Newbury Park Basketball Association. Tyler holds a Bachelor's degree in Sport & Recreation Management from Saint Mary's College of California and has engaged in ongoing professional development through the Sports Business Classroom.
