Samira Areshia

Samira Areshia, SHRM-CP, currently serves as a Human Resource Business Partner for the City of Pearland, Texas, since December 2021. In this role, Samira provides strategic support throughout the employee life cycle for various business units, including the Police, Municipal Courts, and Pearland Economic Development Corporation, among others. Prior to this position, Samira worked in several roles at the City of Stafford, TX, from September 2016 to December 2021, including Human Resource Coordinator, Executive Assistant, and Administrative Assistant for the Fire Department. Earlier experience includes a Human Resources internship at Baylor College of Medicine in 2015. Samira holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a focus on Human Resources from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business.
