Evan Bowers - Product Design Leader

Evan (Ev) Bowers is a seasoned Product Design Leader with a diverse background in user experience and design across multiple industries. Currently serving as a UX Designer for the City of Portland since July 2024, Evan previously held the position of Staff Product Designer at Skylight, a digital consultancy focused on enhancing public services through design and technology. From January 2017 to April 2023, Evan contributed significantly to Zapier as Product Design Lead, Senior Product Designer, and Product Designer, where responsibilities included shaping product vision, aligning teams for product quality, and facilitating user research to drive engagement. Earlier experience includes impactful brand and web design for local businesses and nonprofits at Jupiter Woodsman, product design for apps and websites at FULL Creative, and enhancing e-commerce platforms at Solestruck. Evan holds a BFA in Communication Design from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completed from 2006 to 2008.
