Michael Flynn

Michael Flynn has extensive experience in public service and assessment roles. Currently serving as a Greeter for the Boston Red Sox since March 2023, Flynn has also been a member of the Board of Assessors for the City of Somerville since December 2006. Flynn held the position of Chairman on the Board of Assessors for the City of Chelsea from September 2021 to June 2024 and served as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Association of Assessing Officers (MAAO) from June 2021 to July 2023. Previous roles include Commercial Assessor for the City of Quincy and City of Newton, as well as Chief Assessor for the Town of Framingham and Town of Plymouth. Flynn completed education at UMass Boston between 1976 and 1981.
