Paul Labaere

Paul LaBaere has extensive experience in law enforcement and education, currently serving as a Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Sterling Heights since September 1989. Paul has held various roles including Sergeant responsible for training, scheduling, and supervising patrol officers, as well as Lieutenant assigned to the Chief's Office Internal Affairs since April 2017. In addition, Paul is an author of the children's book "Brick by Brick," which emphasizes family values and responsibility. Paul has also been an instructor at Macomb Community College since 2000, training police recruits and conducting refresher courses for recertification. Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a focus on Law Enforcement from Michigan State University.
