Ashley Palen

Ashley Palen, MHA, CHES, currently serves as the Deputy Health Commissioner and has held the position of Public Health Specialist at the City of West Allis since December 2018. Prior to this role, Ashley worked as a Public Health Specialist for the City of Oak Creek from March 2014 to December 2018, and as a Public Health Technician at the Kenosha County Division of Health from April 2012 to March 2014. Earlier experience includes a preceptee role at the Kenosha County Division of Health in 2011 and serving as an Assistant Teacher at La Crosse Day Care Center from 2009 to 2011. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Health Administration from Saint Joseph's University (2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (2011).
