Robert Humphrey

Robert Humphrey is an experienced educator and recruiter with a diverse background in teaching and academic support. Currently serving as a Recruiter for City Year since August 2021, Robert previously worked as a Secondary ELA Teacher at Noble Elementary-Middle School within the Detroit Public Schools Community District from July 2019 to August 2021. Additional roles include Graduate Fellow and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and Instructor of Record at Bowling Green State University. Early career experience includes a position as Folklore Office and Archivist Assistant at The Ohio State University. Robert holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from The Ohio State University.
