Randy Allen, Ph.D., currently serves on the Global Markets Team at The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) since February 2012, focusing on expanding access to essential healthcare services for HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. Prior to this role, Randy Allen held the position of President and CEO at Charis Diagnostics from 2010 to February 2012 and worked as Director of Business Development at the David H. Murdock Research Institute from 2006 to 2009. Additional experience includes consulting for the Research Triangle Institute and leadership as CEO at Hybrizyme Corp. from 1995 to 2006, and serving as Director of Immunology at EnSys between 1989 and 1995. Randy Allen earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Immunochemistry from Oak Ridge National Laboratory and UT School of Biomedical Sciences, and has a strong educational background in zoology and pathology from North Carolina State University and Michigan State University.
