Jessica Kuang

Jessica Kuang is a TDP Associate Software Engineer at Optum, contributing to the OptumCare API and Enterprise Device Gateway since January 2023. Jessica has held various roles, including Software Engineer Intern at Cloud Brigade, where web applications were developed to enhance employee productivity using AWS technologies. An experienced Undergraduate Research Assistant at Tech4Good, Jessica led a team to create UI components for a web app and managed data interactions using Angular and Firebase. As a Headstarter Fellow, projects were developed from design to deployment under the guidance of industry professionals. Jessica also has experience teaching Python fundamentals as an instructor at Mission Bit and has held multiple leadership roles in student organizations at the University of California, Santa Cruz, from which a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science was earned in 2022.
