Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in developing collaborative solutions and educational devices. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is involved in the hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational products. Previously, Chris has held roles such as a Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies and Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities included designing electronics for educational devices. Academic experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary and earlier work at Grindcom as an Electronics Engineer focused on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
