Brian Smith

Brian Smith has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Brian served as the Vice President of Operations at Cobalt Iron since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Client Alignment - West Region at Netsmart from 2018 to 2019, where they led a team responsible for approximately 500 clients. From 2016 to 2018, Brian was the Chief Operating Officer at Aptora, where they supported accounting and service management software. At Perceptive Software/Lexmark, they held the role of Senior Director/Vice President of Global Operations/Sales Operations from 2014 to 2016, managing a team across Asia, Europe, and the United States. Previously, Brian worked at Perceptive Software from 2004 to 2013, serving as the Director of Global Sales Engineering and Manager of Sales Engineering. Brian started their career at Sprint, where they held roles as an Information Technology Manager and Marketing Manager.

Brian Smith attended Shawnee Mission Northwest for their high school education. After completing high school, they enrolled at The University of Kansas in 1993 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. In 1996, Brian attended the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree.
