Ralf Schmitz

Ralf Schmitz serves as the Technischer Geschäftsführer of COGNE Edelstahl GmbH in Neuss, overseeing the German branch of COGNE Acciai Speciali, a manufacturer of corrosion-resistant, acid-resistant, and heat-resistant steel materials, since July 2014. Prior to this role, Ralf Schmitz was responsible for Werkstofftechnik and served as Prokurist at SCHMOLZ+BICKENBACH AG from January 1990 to June 2014. Educational credentials include a degree in Industrial Engineering from the REFA-Institut (1991-1992), a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau/Produktionstechnik from Hochschule Niederrhein (1983-1988), and training as a Konstruktionsmechaniker/Betriebsschlosser at Siemens AG/DÜWAG (1979-1982).
