Kristin Henn

Kristin Henn has extensive experience in the performing arts, primarily as an Owner/Director at Excused Absence Comedy since August 2007, where oversight includes administrative, creative, and educational functions. Henn is also a Director/Producer/Performer at ColdTowne Theater, actively involved in rehearsals, performances, and directing shows. As Managing Director of the Excused Absence Youth Comedy Festival since June 2014, responsibilities encompass event development, performance scheduling, and marketing. Additional roles include teaching improv at various institutions, including The Hideout Theatre and Austin Home Base School, and serving as a teaching artist with The Paramount Theatre. Henn's academic background includes an MA in Theatre History and Criticism and a BFA in Directing, both from Texas State University.
