Daniel Shin is an accomplished legal professional with a strong focus on cybersecurity and the implications of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies within the legal landscape. Currently serving as a Cybersecurity Researcher and AI Special Counsel at the Center for Legal & Court Technology, Daniel has developed and managed significant online resources for courts while researching innovative legal issues in these emerging fields. Previous roles include an internship at the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties, where compliance assessments were conducted, and law clerk experience at the Drug Enforcement Administration, where a white paper and policy memorandum addressing the legal challenges posed by cryptocurrencies were drafted. Daniel Shin holds a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School, a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mannheim, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Northwestern University.
