April Abrahamson

April Abrahamson has a strong background in healthcare operations and management. April worked at Colorado Access as the Vice President of Health Plan Operations, where they managed all clinical and health plan operations for various lines of business. In this role, they promoted employee growth, streamlined process improvement initiatives, and achieved significant cost savings. April also served as the Executive Director of Medicaid, overseeing three State of Colorado Medicaid contracts and establishing key relationships to maximize operational efficiency. Prior to their time at Colorado Access, they held roles at Great West Casualty Company as the Director of Provider Data Management and at PacifiCare as the Manager of Information Technology. Throughout their career, April has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, driving productivity improvements and implementing effective improvement programs.

April Abrahamson completed their Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado Boulder. April then went on to pursue a Masters degree in Health Services Administration from Regis University, which they completed between 2002 and 2005.
