Director Of Wellness And Prevention at Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc.

Ann-Marie John has a diverse work experience in the field of nursing and education. Ann-Marie is currently working as the Director of Wellness and Prevention at the Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Dean at Trocaire College from September 2019 to January 2022, where they showcased strong leadership and communication skills in health science education. Ann-Marie has also worked as an Associate Professor and Professor of Nursing at Northern Virginia Community College from January 2010 to January 2022. Ann-Marie obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, and their Associate of Applied Science in Nursing at City Tech, CUNY. Ann-Marie John also pursued a Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. In addition to their education, they hold a certification in CPR with AED from the American Heart Association.
