Alan Lederman

Alan Lederman has been with Community Health Plan of Washington for 15 years and is currently their Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Alan oversees the Operations and Strategic business areas of the organization which include Business Process Outsourcing, Claims Operations, Internal Audit, Strategic Planning, Payer Programs, and Public Policy.

Under Alan's leadership, the organization has seen a reduction in claims inventory and improved timely and accurate claims payment. Alan has also been instrumental in securing the Medicaid expansion in Washington State and protecting key programs threatened with substantial funding cuts or elimination.

Alan previously served as the Executive Director of Financial Planning and Decision Support for Group Health Cooperative for 20 years. In this role, they were responsible for managing the finance department and was the primary contact for Finance topics internally and externally.
