Miikka Jämsen

Miikka Jämsen is the current Director of Sales & Marketing at Componenta. Miikka has held this position since September of 2019. Prior to this, they were an Advisor at Componenta from September 2018 to September 2019.

From September 2007 to September 2019, Jämsen was the Director of Sales and Marketing at Komas Oy. Miikka was responsible for Sales and Marketing, Key Account Management, IT and M&A activities, and was a member of Board of Directors and Management Team. Miikka also led the KAM Team. Under their leadership, Sales grew from 20 MEUR in 2013 to 45 MEUR in 2018.

From August 2006 to August 2007, Jämsen was the Controller at Komas Sp. z o.o. Their responsibilities included Accounting, Financing, Reporting, Cost Accounting and ERP. Miikka took over an acquired company with approximately 450 employees and Sales of 12 MEUR.

From October 2005 to July 2006, Jämsen was a Project Manager at Komas Group Oy. Miikka was responsible for ERP Implementation and harmonization in four different sites.

Jämsen has also been a Business Controller at Komas Oy from July 2004 to September 2005 and at Patria Vammas Oy from May 2002 to June 2004.

From May 1999 to April 2002, Jämsen worked as a Researcher and Assistant at Tampere University of Technology.

After receiving their high school diploma from Suolahti high school, Miikka Jämsen attended Tampere University of Technology from 1965-2018, where they obtained their master's degree in accounting and business/management.

They are on a team with Hanna Seppänen - General Counsel, Marko Karppinen - CFO , and Sami Sivuranta - Director, Development. Miikka Jämsen reports to Marko Penttinen, President & CEO.
