Mihai Mocanu

Mihai Mocanu has extensive work experience as a mechanical design engineer, specializing in CAD and plastic parts development for the automotive industry. Mihai began their career in 2010 at Marquardt GmbH, where they worked on various projects including gear selection switches and steering wheel control panels. Mihai then joined Rücker AG in 2012, focusing on interior design and developing plastic parts for car interiors. In 2014, Mihai joined CONTECHS, where they held roles as a senior mechanical design engineer, lead CAD engineer, and ALIAS designer. Mihai also worked at IAC Group as a senior CAD engineer. In 2021, Mihai returned to CONTECHS as a lead CAD engineer. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for finding constructive solutions, optimizing designs for injection, ensuring pre-assembly and waterproofing, and meeting client requirements.

Mihai Mocanu completed a Master's of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University "Gh.Asachi" - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, attending from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended National College "Mihail Sadoveanu" Iasi from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Physics-Chemistry. Mihai also obtained additional certifications in CATIA V5 Part Design Expert and Surface Design Custom from Magic Engineering in 2011, and in SIEMENS ADVANCED NX MODELLING AND SHAPE STUDIO from Digital Twin.
