Nishant Sharma

Nishant Sharma is an experienced engineering manager with a focus on validation tools and simulation analysis at Cruise since November 2017. In this role, Nishant has developed analysis techniques to enhance AV software complexity and generative test volume, while also building high-fidelity measurement frameworks. Previously, Nishant served in various engineering roles, including senior software engineer and software engineer in planning and controls. Nishant's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Additional experience includes research assistant roles at both the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and IIIT Delhi, contributing to the development of software for distributed systems and autonomous vehicles.
