Sean Peterson

Sean Peterson has a diverse work experience starting from 2008. Sean first worked as an Overhead Crane Operator at Fibrominn LLC for four years. Then, they joined ContourGlobal in 2012 as an IT Support Analyst. Sean later on took on roles as an IT Manager, Global OT Manager, and currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Information Security Officer.

Sean Peterson completed their education at Ridgewater College from 2008 to 2011. Sean earned two Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degrees, one in Network and System Administration/Administrator and the other in Computer Support Specialist.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sean obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) certification from GIAC Certifications, which they achieved in May 2022. Sean also holds the GIAC Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP) certification since June 2021 and the GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GCISP) certification since February 2020.

Other certifications include ITIL Foundation from APMG International in April 2016, Apple Certified Associate - Mac Integration Basics 10.11 from Apple in March 2016, Vidyo Certified Deployment & Support Engineer (VC-DSE) from Vidyo in March 2015, Security+ from CompTIA in November 2013, and A+ from CompTIA in April 2011.

Lastly, Sean obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in December 2020.
