Amanda O'Hara currently serves as the Director of the Human Research Protections Program (HRPP) and IRB Manager at Cooper University Health Care since September 2020. Previously, Amanda was a Research Compliance Specialist at Rowan University, focusing on IRB operations and serving on various university research compliance committees. Extensive experience at the University of Pennsylvania included roles as an IRB Senior Regulatory Analyst, Research Compliance Liaison, and Animal Care Technician/Trainer, where responsibilities ranged from reviewing IRB submissions to animal husbandry and personnel training. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University-Camden and an Associate of Science in Culture, Science, and Technology from the Community College of Philadelphia. Notably, Amanda co-presented at the Tri-Branch Symposium in 2010 on training and morale strategies in animal facilities.
