Irene Skala

Irene Skala, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Irene is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Navis Clinical Laboratories since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Finance at Cordant Health Solutions from December 2021, and previously as the Sr. Director of Financial Planning Analysis since June 2017. Before joining Cordant Health Solutions, Irene worked as a Senior Finance Manager at Level 3 Communications for ten years, from May 2007 to June 2017. Irene also served as the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at Newmont Mining Corporation from July 2006 to April 2007. Irene started their career at Wienerberger, where they worked as an Investor Relations Associate and Corporate Development from February 2000 to May 2005.

Irene Skala, CPA holds a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree in Accounting & Finance from East Tennessee State University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz from 1996 to 2000. Alongside their education, they have obtained a CPA certification from the State of Colorado.
