Mike Kadar has had an extensive career in strength and conditioning. Mike began in 2002 as the Founder and President of Core Stix Fitness Systems, which was originally created for world-class athletes and has since evolved into the most versatile fitness product available. In 2004, they became the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Los Angeles Kings, where they were responsible for the welfare of the team and implementing strength and conditioning programs as well as the team nutrition and supplement program. In 2008, they took on the same role for the Pittsburgh Penguins, where they were the lead on implementing nutritional and supplement guidelines for the team. In 2015, they moved to the Detroit Red Wings as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, where they were responsible for rehabilitative skates for injured players. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Director/Manager of Prospect Strength and Conditioning for the New Jersey Devils, where they work closely with players and their coaches to help them make the next step to the NHL.
Mike Kadar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from The University of Lethbridge.
