Elizabeth Fryman

Elizabeth Firger Smith is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in the life sciences and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for Life Sciences at Corning Incorporated since July 2016, Elizabeth has progressed through various roles, including Sr. Manager and Manager of Executive & Internal Communications. Prior to this, Elizabeth worked at DNV GL from October 2011 to July 2016, holding positions such as Learning and Development Consultant and Internal Communications Manager, where skills in employee engagement were developed in a post-merger context. Earlier career experience includes serving as Branding & Communications Specialist at DNV KEMA Energy & Sustainability and Account Supervisor at Gray & Rice Public Relations, overseeing a team providing public relations services to multiple B2B clients.
