Lou Tavani

Lou Tavani has over 27 years of work experience in various tax-related roles. Currently, they are the Sr. Director of Tax (Head of Tax) at Corsair since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Head Of Tax - Sr. Director at SYNNEX from April 2020 to December 2020. From 2011 to 2019, Lou served as the Sr. Director of Tax (Head of Global Tax) at InvenSense, Inc. Before that, they were the Director, International Tax at Hitachi GST (Acquired by WDC) from December 2009 to April 2011. Lou also held the position of Director, Tax and Treasury at Data Domain, Inc. (Acquired by EMC) from September 2007 to October 2009. Prior to that, they worked at Pillar Data Systems as the Director of Tax from January 2007 to August 2007. Lou had a role as a Tax Manager at ALZA Corporation from January 2006 to January 2007, where they managed various tax-related matters. Lou also worked as a Tax Manager at Johnson & Johnson from 2002 to 2007. Lou began their career as a Senior Tax Analyst at Asher & Co., Ltd. from 1998 to 2000 and as a Sr. Tax Accountant at Leonard Dwares & Co. from 1994 to 1998.

Lou Tavani completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Accounting at the University of Pittsburgh from 1990 to 1994. Lou later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from Philadelphia University, where they studied from 2002 to 2003.
