Michael Farris has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michael started their career at Game Day Communications as a Research and Innovation Coordinator in January 2011. Michael then moved on to the University of Central Florida, where they worked as a Graduate Assistant for University Analysis and Planning Support from August 2011 to December 2012. After that, they joined The Aspire Group Inc as a Manager of Strategic Consulting and Market Research from January 2013 to June 2014. Michael was then promoted to the role of Director of Strategic Consulting and Research and worked there until May 2018. Currently, Michael is working for the Country Music Association (CMA) as the Sr. Manager of Consumer Research from May 2018 to March 2020. Michael then became the Business Intelligence Lead from March 2020 to December 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Sr. Director of Business Strategy and Insights at CMA.
Michael Farris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Business, with Honors, at Northern Kentucky University from 2007 to 2011. Michael then pursued further education at the UCF College of Business, where they obtained a Master's degree in Sport Business Management, along with an MBA, from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Michael Farris also holds a Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) from the Marketing Research Association.
