Amnie Dingus

Amnie Dingus has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Amnie currently serves as the Human Resources Director at County of Culpeper. Prior to their current role, they worked as an HR Specialist at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center. Amnie also has experience as an HR Manager at Town of Warrenton and as a Human Resources Specialist at Culpeper County.

Before focusing on HR, Amnie had interned as a Human Resources Intern at the Washington Nationals and worked as a Teller at Oak View National Bank and BB&T. In these roles, they gained customer service skills and an understanding of banking policies and procedures.

Throughout their career, Amnie has demonstrated proficiency in various HR tasks, such as recruitment, handling employee issues, and maintaining compliance with regulations. Amnie has experience working with both corporate headquarters and settlement offices.

Amnie Dingus completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management-Human Resources from Virginia Tech from 2008 to 2010. Amnie then pursued a Masters degree in Public Administration from George Mason University, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they are studying at Tulane University Law School, where they aim to obtain a Master of Jurisprudence degree specializing in Labor & Employment Law starting from 2023. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the IPMA-SCP certification from IPMA-HR in January 2022. It is unknown whether they have obtained the PHR certification or obtained any additional certifications such as RWCS or Virginia Notary.
