Hari Teja Murakonda

Hari Teja Murakonda serves as Principal at Coupa Software's AI Center of Excellence since January 2021, following the acquisition of Opex Analytics. Prior to this role, Murakonda spent six years at Opex Analytics as a Solutions Architect in Data Science, where responsibilities included designing AI and machine learning solutions for diverse sectors, mentoring data scientists, and developing product roadmaps. Early experience involved a progression from Senior Data Scientist, implementing complex pricing solutions, to Data Scientist, focusing on predictive analytics in the airline and retail industries. Murakonda's educational background includes a Master's degree in Machine Learning and Data Science from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering coupled with an MBA from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
