Kai Verkerk

Kai Verkerk is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as the Head of Agricultural Solutions at Covestro since July 2004. Verkerk has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Senior Project Manager for Circular Economy and Global Head of Vulkollan, while also being a member of the Elastomers Division Leadership team. Previously, Verkerk worked at Bayer from November 1997 to June 2004, assuming roles such as Project Manager in Strategic Studies and Group Leader of Process Innovation in the BU Polyurethanes. Academic credentials include a PhD in Technical Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University, an Advanced Development Program from London Business School, and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Utrecht University.
