Jonathan Adler, MD

Jonathan Adler, MD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jonathan is currently working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine starting from September 2020. Jonathan also gained valuable experience as an Attending Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital starting in 1993 until April 2016. Jonathan provided emergency care for over 23 years in an academic Level 1 trauma center and played a role in the creation of the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency. During their time at Massachusetts General Hospital, they also served as an Associate Program Director for 5 years.

Additionally, Jonathan has held various positions in the field of medical publishing. Jonathan worked as a Clinical Strategy Editor at NEJM Group (Massachusetts Medical Society) from 2011 to 2015. Jonathan was the Co-founder, President, and member of the Board of Directors at eMedicine.com where they transformed the concept of textbooks into a living online medical reference. Jonathan Adler, MD completed their education at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where they obtained their MD degree. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) at the University of Colorado, College of Engineering from 1980 to 1983. During this time, they focused on the fields of Aerospace Engineering Sciences and Bioengineering. Jonathan also attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Colorado, College of Arts and Sciences. In terms of their secondary education, Jonathan attended Horace Greeley High School. Additionally, they attained certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in September 2014.
