Derek Matsche has a diverse and extensive work experience in IT operations and service desk management. Derek is currently the Director of IT Operations & Service Desk at Crisis Prevention Institute, leading the technology operations team and focusing on service delivery and IT service desk. Prior to that, Derek worked as the Service Desk Director at CCB Technology for seven years, where they provided IT solutions to corporate and nonprofit organizations. Before that, they served as the Regional IT Manager at Normet Corporation, focusing on underground mining and tunneling solutions. Derek also has experience working at CSC as a Team Lead and Field Technician, and at North American Baptist Conference as a Leader of Information Technology & Facilities. Additionally, they worked at Grace Church as an Office Manager/Ministry Assistant and at Christ for Children International as a Missionary.

Derek Matsche attended Milwaukee Area Technical College from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained an Associate Degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management. Derek then went on to study at Trinity International University from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management.
