Gameplay Engineer at Criterion Games

Stuart Hunt is an experienced gameplay engineer and senior gameplay programmer with a career spanning over two decades in the gaming industry. Currently working at Criterion Games since December 2022, Stuart also holds the position of Senior Gameplay Programmer at Electronic Arts and Codemasters since June and November 2019, respectively. Previously, Stuart spent 16 years at Slightly Mad Studios, contributing to notable racing titles such as the Need for Speed: Shift series and the Project Cars series. Additional past roles include senior programming positions at Visual Science, Steel Monkeys, and Special Projects, as well as an early role as a programmer at DMA Design. Stuart holds a BSc. (Hons.) in Computer Studies and Microsystems from Abertay University, earned between 1990 and 1994.
