Massimiliano ROMEO

Massimiliano Romeo has held a variety of roles in the defense and security industry since 1979. From 1979 to 1984, they served as an Officer in the Italian Navy, where they were responsible for defining technical requirements for electronic systems to be installed aboard Navy vessels and for relations with foreign Navies in the frame of G-to-G agreements. From 1984 to 1998, they were the Chief Procurement Officer at Alenia Difesa - International Naval Systems Division, where they were responsible for co-ordinating cost-effectiveness procurement within the assigned budget, minimising purchasing risks within the higher level of quality and performances. From 1998 to 2002, they were the Senior Sales Area Manager/Sales Director to Consorzio SIGEN (Elettronica/Thales Syst. Aéroportés) at Elettronica S.p.A., where they had executive sales and business development responsibilities of the assigned Area, with a specific task to build up new Customer relationships in the Area. From 2002 to 2015, they were the Marketing & Sales Director at CY4GATE S.r.l. - An ELETTRONICA Group Company. Since 2020, they have been the Chief Business Development & International Sales Officer - Chief Security & Trade Compliance Officer and Chief Operations Officer - Chief Security Officer at CY4GATE.

Massimiliano ROMEO's education history consists of three degrees. Massimiliano began their studies in 1979 at Accademia Navale, where they earned a degree in Ingegneria Elettrotecnica with a field of study in Ingegneria degli Studi di Pisa. Massimiliano continued their studies at Università di Pisa from 1980 to 1985, earning an MSc and PgC in Electrical Engineering. Lastly, they completed a Master in Optronics and Optic at the Italian National Research Centre in 1991-1992.
