Karl Gumtow

Karl Gumtow began their professional career in 1986 when they enlisted in the US Navy. In 1989, they joined Booz Allen & Hamilton as a Principal. In 2002, they moved to RABA as a Senior Vice President. In 2006, they joined SRA International as a Vice President. In 2009, they became the CEO of CyberPoint International. In 2018, they were appointed as the Executive Director of the Maryland Innovation & Security Institute.

Karl Gumtow received their MSEE in Communications from The Johns Hopkins University in 1996. Prior to that, they obtained their BSEE in Computer Engineering from The George Washington University in 1992. Karl also attended Great Mills High School.
